New initiative reimagines how university talent is discovered, and match to blockchain internships across the United States and beyond
Chicago — January 27, 2026 — MyStandard today announced a strategic partnership with Blockchain Education Network (BEN) to launch a new generation of gamified internship application programs with leading blockchain companies.
The partnership introduces a fundamentally new approach to early-career hiring in Web3, replacing traditional cold applications and résumé filtering with direct reach outs with incentives and opportunities to students from employers.
Through the MyStandard platform, built with Avalanche, students from universities across the United States can simply make a profile and be matched and found for opportunities, while engaging with the jobs they want in privacy. Rather than relying on static résumés or keyword screening, the program emphasizes:
- Incentives to reward participation
- Transparent, merit-based evaluation of candidates
- A more engaging and equitable path for students to access top-tier opportunities
The inaugural internship program will launch in February, providing students direct exposure to one of the most prominent blockchain ecosystems in the industry.
Partnering with the World’s Largest Student Blockchain Network
Blockchain Education Network brings a deep and proven track record to the initiative. BEN has previously hosted some of the largest national and international collegiate blockchain programs, including global hackathons, startup competitions, and educational initiatives that have reached tens of thousands of students worldwide.
By combining BEN’s student reach and educational leadership with MyStandard’s platform and hiring innovation, the partnership aims to set a new standard for how blockchain companies identify and develop future talent.
“This partnership is about fundamentally rethinking how connections are made,” said Adam Zec for MyStandard. “Students should keep their data safe, with them and engage on their terms rather than giving their data to sites like LinkedIn and endlessly applying to blackhole-internship job postings which receive 5,000+ applications.”
The program is designed to benefit blockchain companies as well, offering a more efficient, signal-rich way to engage high-potential candidates.
While the first phase of the program will focus on universities in the United States, MyStandard and BEN plan to expand the initiative internationally, bringing the gamified internship model to students and blockchain companies around the world.
